Established in 2014, CHIA Queensland is the independent industry body representing community housing organisations (CHOs) in Queensland. Governed by a professional and committed Board of Directors, CHIA Queensland is a member-based, non-profit company limited by guarantee. Our purpose is to lead and enable a diverse and dynamic community housing industry in Queensland.
Community Housing Industry Association QLD (CHIA QLD) is the state peak body representing not for profit community housing providers across Queensland.
In collaboration with our members, industry, sectoral partners and peak bodies we work to:
- PROMOTE growth and sustainability of the Community Housing sector
- ADVOCATE on behalf of our members to strengthen the community housing sector
- SUPPORT our members with access to knowledge, resources and connections.
- GROW CHIA Qld’s organisational and financial capacity
